March 2007 ~ Day 12 Art & Morality
The artist is first a seeker who in life searches for moments bound by common experience. Motivated less by the currency of business than by the trade of a handshake or a smile, the artist takes note of those subtle but important aspects of the human condition. He captures what is generally lost to the wind of misplaced priorities and reminds us of our strengths and also our frailties. By his work the artist evokes emotions that urge us to move forward and to seek ourselves the meaning of life.
